HP Chromebook x360 14c (2021) launched

HP has finally updated its Chromebook lineup. The company launches its HP Chromebook x360 14c along with 11th-generation Intel Core processors. Beside processor upgrade, the company has also brings Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and fast charging support. However, rest of the design elements still remains unchanged. HP Chromebook x360 14c (2021): Price

The all new HP Chromebook x360 14c comes with a price tag of USD 649.99 which is approximately Rs 48600 for the base variant. Initially, this Chromebook will launch in US via Best Buy. Later, it will be made available on the company’s official website later this month. Meanwhile, the company has not made any official announcement about its international availability. Also, we don’t know if this laptop could even land in Indian markets.

HP Chromebook x360 14c (2021): Specifications

The latest HP Chromebook x360 14c (2021) comes with a 14-inch full HD LED display along with multitouch support. This display comes with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The laptop will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Additionally, the touchpad will also offer multitouch gesture support. As for the connectivity ports, it comes with 3 USB ports (1 x USB 3.0 (Type A), 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type C)), Multi Card Slot, Headphone and Mic Combo Jack ports.

Regarding specifications, the Chromebook x360 14c is power by the 11th-Generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor which is clocked at 4.1GHz. The device comes with 8GB RAM/ 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage. The storage option is a major upgrade over previous model which comes with just 64GB of lower quality eMMC storage option. The processor is also an upgrade, as previous generation ChromeBook features Intel Premium Gold Processor. For audio, the device comes with two speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen. This Chromebook runs on Google’s latest Chrome OS.

HP Chromebook x360 14c comes with a 3-cell 58Wh lithium-ion polymer battery along with 45W fast charging support. The Chromebook features a USB Type-C port for fast charging. Additionally, the company claims that this charger can charge the device from 0 to 50% in just 45 minutes. Regarding other features, this convertible Chromebook also features a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Additionally, it carries support for stylus pen and has a backlit keyboard. For connectivity options, the device includes USB 2.0 port, two USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. The all new device measures 321.56×205.74×17.78mm and weighs 1.66kg.
