New OnePlus Pad under works, spotted on certification website

OnePlus Pad could be the next new product from the company. The latest OnePlus Tablet has been spotted on the EQUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) certification website.

OnePlus could soon make its entry into the tablet segment. To recall, this segment has been dominated by the likes of Samsung and Apple from a very long time. The Chinese manufacturers could bring some of the popular smartphone features in this upcoming tablet segment. According to reports, the OnePlus device has been listed on the EQUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) website. The listing reveals that the electronic device listed comes with the name of OnePlus Pad.

OnePlus Tablet expected details:

According to MySmartPrice, the OnePlus Pad, a rumored new OnePlus tablet, was discovered on the EQUIPO certification website. However, the listing does not reveal much about the device other than its name. The listing does mention the trademark status under “Examination”. This suggests that the device is still under works. OnePlus offer products in other segments also starting from smart TVs, to mobiles, to wearables and much more. Tablet segment is an all-new segment for the Chinese brand. To recall, the sister brands of OnePlus under BBK Electronics already have similar tablet products in their pipeline. Since the alleged OnePlus trademark is out. Therefore, we can expect the rumour mills to bring more details about the upcoming device in coming days.

OnePlus upcoming launches:

Beside OnePlus tablet segment, these days the Chinese manufacturers are highly busy in preparation for the launch of OnePlus Nord 2. According to reports, the OnePlus Nord 2 will be launching later this month. According to leaks, the smartphone could debut in India on July 24. The Nord 2 is likely to feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The smartphone will pack in MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip. It will come with an 8GB RAM and a 4500mAh battery along with 30W fast charging support. The upcoming phone will get triple rear camera system.

OnePlus-Oppo Integration: Future plans

According to previous posts, OnePlus has already announced for its integration with Oppo. OnePlus and Oppo clarified their plans for integration of their research and development. This will allow both companies to maximize the proper utilization of their resources. This means that OnePlus and Oppo could launch similar products in future including mobile, tablet and others. OnePlus also confirms about merger of its Oxygen OS custom ROM skin with Oppo’s Color OS. This will allow to improve the Oxygen OS experience.

The main question from this merger comes out as to What’s next for both the company. What could be the new upcoming OnePlus and Oppo device for the customers? According to reports, both Oppo and OnePlus could bring products including mobiles, tablet and others. Keep in mind, OnePlus has already mentioned in its forum about the changes in the Oxygen OS. These changes will be un noticeable to the users.

The Chinese manufacturers also confirms that the OnePlus Nord and Nord CE will get two major Android updates. Additionally, both devices will get three years of security updates. Also, according to OnePlus Forum, the devices older than the OnePlus 8 series will also get two major Android updates and three years of security updates.
