As per previous leaks, OnePlus has finally launched its Smart TV in India with the name of OnePlus TV 40Y1. The latest smart TV comes in two screen size including 32-inch and 43-inch Y1 series models. The main highlight of this smart TV includes a 40-inch bezel-less display. The all new 40Y1 TV is introduced under affordable price segment. The latest OnePlus TV price in India starts at Rs 23999. However, as an introductory offer, currently, the smart TV is available for Rs 21999 in India. The smart TV will be available for purchase via Flipkart. The first sale for the smart TV begins on May 26 at 12pm. Additionally, interested buyers can get an additional 10 per cent Instant discount by using HDFC Bank cards. The Chinese brand also provides easy EMI transactions options. According to reports, the smart TV is likely to be available for sale on company’s online store in next few days.

The OnePlus smart TV comes with 40-inch bezel-less LED backlight LCD display. This display gets a screen-to-body ratio of 93 per cent. The smart TV also gets a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 93 per cent for vivid colors. Additionally, it also gets an advanced Color Gamma Engine for improved visual quality. There is a support for Dynamic Contrast. The TV comes with noise cancellation and anti-aliasing color space mapping for better picture quality.
For audio, the OnePlus TV 40Y1 comes with support for 20W stereo speakers. These speakers gets support for Dolby Atmos. For connectivity, the smart TV comes with two HDMI ports, two USB, RF, optical digital audio port, 3-in-1 AV composite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, and ethernet. The TV runs on Android 9.0 out of the box. With the availability of Android support system, the device gets support for plethora of apps via the Google Play Store.
This TV comes with Google Assistant Enabled in English, Hindi and eight other Indian Regional Languages). It also gets in-built support for Alexa and Chromecast. Also, the TV can be controlled via users smartphone. This can be done via OnePlus Connect App. This feature is also available in OnePlus Q1 TV series. Additionally, users can also make use of Shared Album feature to share pictures via smartphone to the TV.
