The Honor 60 Series is the newest addition to the Honor smartphone family, featuring the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro models. These devices showcase the latest innovations and performance of the Chinese smartphone brand, which has been operating independently since 2020. The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro were launched in China through a virtual event, where they revealed their impressive specifications and features including Curved OLED display.

Each of the new Honor smartphone devices feature curved OLED display, 66W fast charging along with 4800mAh batteries. The all-new Snapdragon 778G powers the vanilla variant of Honor 60. Whereas, the Honor 60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset.

The Honor 60 Series boasts a stunning 108 MP quad rear camera system that delivers amazing photos and videos. The camera also supports AI features that enhance the image quality and functionality. One of these features is the “Give Me Five” mode, which is designed for vloggers who want to control their vlog remotely with their palm and finger gestures. The Honor 60 Series is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, where it offers three variants with different RAM and storage capacities. The base model of the Honor 60 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it costs CNY 2699, which is around Rs 31700 in Indian currency. The second model has the same RAM but double the storage, and it is priced at CNY 2999, which is roughly Rs 35200. The top model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it is sold for CNY 3299, which is about Rs 38800.

The Honor 60 Pro is the premium model of the Honor 60 Series, and it has two variants with different RAM and storage options. The base variant of the Honor 60 Pro has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it costs CNY 3699, which is around Rs 43500 in Indian currency. The top variant of the Honor 60 Pro has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it is priced at CNY 3999, which is roughly Rs 47000.

The all-new Honor 60 series smartphones are already available for sale in China. Meanwhile, there is no official word from the Chinese smartphone brand on whether the smartphone will be made available outside the China. The all-new Honor 60 supports a 6.67-inch Full-HD Curved OLED display. It comes with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, the display on the new Honor 60 mobile gets 120Hz refresh rate along with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut.

For the optics, the Honor 60 comes with 108-megapixel primary camera along with f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, the vanilla Honor 60 gets a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Furthermore, the Chinese smartphone brand launches this Honor 60 series phone targeting the vloggers. The vanilla variant also comes with the Vlog mode for Vloggers. This mode includes AI features targeting the Vloggers. Additionally, the company has also pushed a “Give Me Five” feature on this smartphone. This AI feature allow users to make use of features. Users can make gestures with their palm and fingers to start their vlog on their own while standing at a distance. The Honor 60 also offers a long-lasting battery life, as it is equipped with a 4800mAh battery that can support up to 66W fast charging. This means that the Honor 60 can be fully charged in less than an hour, and it can last for a whole day of usage. In standard usage, it can offer more than a day battery life.

  • USB Type-C Connectivity with NFC

For connectivity, the Honor 60 series device gets features like NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and USB Type-C charging port. For device security, Honor 60 also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. In addition to fingerprint authentication, the device has face unlock. Furthermore, the Honor 60 runs on the company’s own custom Magic UI 5 Skin which is based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

The Honor 60 Pro features a stunning 6.78-inch Full HD Curved OLED display that delivers a vivid and immersive viewing experience. The display has a high resolution of 1200×2652 pixel. This Honor 60 Series smartphone supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that enhances the fluidity and responsiveness of the screen. The display also covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut, which means that it can produce accurate and vibrant colors.

  • Snapdragon 778G+ Processor

Recently launched Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC powers this Pro variant. To recall, this Snapdragon 778G Plus was launched in the month of October. Additionally, this chipset comes in pair with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

  • 108 MP Camera on Pro Variant

For the camera optics, Honor 60 Pro features a 108-megapixel rear camera setup. The 108-megapixel primary camera comes with an f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Moreover, the third camera is a depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.



For selfies, the Pro variant under the new Honor mobile phone series gets a 50-megapixel front facing lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Just like the Honor 60, the Pro smartphone also comes with AI-powered video features. The Chinese smartphone makers claims that both the phones can record AI-enabled 4K video on both front and rear cameras. In addition to this, the Chinese smartphone makers are also offering additional camera features within app.

  • 66W Fast charging

As for the other features, the Honor 60 Pro packs in a 4800mAh battery along with 66W fast charging support. Honor claims that the device can charge from zero to 50 percent in just 15 minutes with the in-box charger.



  • Magic UI 5

The Honor 60 Pro also comes with NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Furthermore, it also gets USB Type-C port for fast charging. It also gets on-screen fingerprint scanner. Besides fingerprint, the handset also gets face unlock for authentication. Moreover, the Pro variant under the Honor 60 series will also run-on company’s Magic UI 5 which is based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
