Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro are the two new mobile phone models to launch under Honor branding. The latest smartphones launched under the Honor 60 Series. The Chinese smartphone brand unveiled these latest devices at China via an all-virtual event. Each of the new Honor mobile devices feature curved OLED display, 66W fast charging along with 4800mAh batteries. The all-new Snapdragon 778G powers the vanilla variant of Honor 60. Whereas, the Honor 60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset.
One of the key highlights of the mobile phones under the Honor 60 series is the inclusion of 108-MP rear camera setup. Moreover, Honor touts this camera setup to come with AI specific features. Other camera feature also includes “Give Me Five” mode. This AI mode is also useful among vloggers as it allows them to control vlog from a distance using their palm and finger gestures. Currently, Honor 60 series is exclusively available on the homeland of China. In China, the Honor 60 price starts at CNY 2699 which is approximately Rs 31700 for the base variant. This base variant features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The other variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage comes with a price tag of CNY 2999 which is approximately Rs 35200. Additionally, the top-end variant of Honor 60 features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes with a price tag of CNY 3299 which is approximately Rs 38800.

Honor 60 Pro:
On the other hand, the Pro variant under the Honor 60 series comes with a starting price of CNY 3699 for the base variant. The base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage is priced at CNY 3699 which is approximately Rs 43500. Additionally, the top-end variant of new Honor 60 Pro mobile phone features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It comes with a price tag of CNY 3999 which is approximately Rs 47000.

Honor 60 Series: Availability
The all-new Honor 60 series smartphones are already available for sale in China. Meanwhile, there is no official word from the Chinese smartphone brand on whether the smartphone will be made available outside the China. The all-new Honor 60 supports a 6.67-inch Full-HD OLED display. It comes with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, the display on the new Honor 60 mobile gets 120Hz refresh rate along with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. Under the hood, the latest Honor 60 series device packs in Snapdragon 778G SoC. This chipset also comes in pair with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

For the optics, the Honor 60 comes with 108-megapixel primary camera along with f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, the third camera is a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies, the vanilla Honor 60 gets a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Furthermore, the Chinese smartphone brand launches this Honor 60 series phone targeting the vloggers.

For connectivity, the Honor 60 series device gets features like NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and USB Type-C charging port. For device security, Honor 60 also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the Honor 60 runs on the company’s own custom Magic UI 5 Skin which is based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

The all-new Pro variant under the Honor 60 series sports a 6.78-inch Full HD OLED display. The display gets a screen resolution of 1200×2652 pixel. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate along with DCI-P3 colour gamut. Recently launched Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC powers this Pro variant. To recall, this Snapdragon 778G Plus was launched in the month of October. Additionally, this chipset comes in pair with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

For the camera optics, Honor 60 Pro features a 108-megapixel rear camera setup. The 108-megapixel primary camera comes with an f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Moreover, the third camera is a depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the Pro variant under the new Honor mobile phone series gets a 50-megapixel front facing lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Just like the Honor 60, the Pro smartphone also comes with AI-powered video features.
