iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, introduced its latest 5G smartphone last week, named iQOO Neo 6. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched this phone as a high-end gaming-centric device. The iQOO Neo 6 is the successor to the iQOO Neo 5 in China. The phone boasts several notable features, including a 120Hz AMOLED display and a triple rear camera setup. Additionally, it supports an 80W fast charging technology, an upgrade from last year’s iQOO Neo 5, which only supported 66W fast charging.
Vivo iQOO Neo 6 in China
Moreover, iQOO is providing a specialized display chip with the new iQOO Neo 6 smartphone. This chip is designed to optimize graphics processing and improve the gaming experience for users. The iQ00 Neo 6 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm. It is worth noting that the iQOO Neo 5 also featured the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. In addition to the smartphone, iQOO has released a 44W flash charge power bank. This power bank can charge the Neo 6 from 0 to 50% in approximately 18 minutes. The Chinese technology company has also launched the iQOO Extreme Wind Cooling Back Clip Pro. This accessory helps to regulate the temperature of the smartphone while multitasking or gaming at high performance levels while charging. The back clip features dual USB type-C ports.
iQOO Neo 6 price
iQOO Neo 6 price starts at CNY 2799, roughly Rs 33500 for the base variant. Here is the base variant of IQOO Neo 6 packs in 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This IQOO phone also comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at CNY 2999, roughly Rs 35900. The top-end variant of IQOO Neo 6 packs 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at CNY 3299, roughly Rs 39400.

Availability
The Vivo iQOO Neo 6 smartphone comes in two color options, including blue and orange shades. These color variants come with classic lycée leather on the back. Furthermore, it is marked by a Black shade and fluorite AG Glass. As far as its availability is concerned, the iQ00 phone will go on sale exclusively in China starting April 20. The pre-orders for the IQOO Neo 6 have already started. According to reports, the iQOO Neo 6 could launch in India on April 26 but with a different moniker.
Meanwhile, IQOO is yet to provide availability and price details for the Vivo iQOO Neo 6 in other international markets. Besides the IQ smartphone, the company also launched IQoo 44W Flash Charge Power Bank and Extreme Wind Cooling Back Clip Pro. The iQOO Flash Charge Power Bank debuts in China at CNY 299, roughly Rs 3600. At the same time, the iQOO Extreme Wind Cooling Back Flip Pro is available for CNY 199, roughly Rs 2400.

One can easily play games like PubG, CoD, and others in high graphic settings. The average frame rate while gaming is around 80fps, which is excellent. We did not notice any frame dropping issue.

The triple camera unit is sandwiched between the metal layer in this unique camera module. The bottom part of the metal layer features the Neo branding. Additionally, there is AI camera branding mentioned on the metal portion. The triple camera unit feels quite attractive.
IQOO Neo 6 gets a triple rear camera setup for photos and videos. The 50MP primary camera is a Samsung ISOCELL Plus GW1P sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. Moreover, this primary sensor also gets PDAF and OIS support. The secondary camera is a 12MP Samsung GM1 ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. Software-wise, the iQOO Neo 6 runs on OriginOS Ocean skin on top of Android 12. Moreover, this custom skin comes with many new features based on Android 12. However, the handset comes with a lot of junk apps pre-installed. Although, we can uninstall these junk apps to save our storage.

The complete hardware on Vivo iQOO Neo 6 will get its backup from a 4700mAh dual-cell battery. This battery can easily last you for a day or so on average usage. This battery can last for around 18 to 20 hours on heavy usage. To charge the Neo 6, we also get an 80W Flash Charge fast charging adapter inside the box. Moreover, this iQOO charger can charge the smartphone from 0 to 100 percent in around 90 minutes.
Vivo iQOO Neo 6: Final Verdict
The all-new Neo 6 is an excellent offering from the Chinese smartphone brand. The latest smartphone offers an excellent display, decent performance, and premium design. The camera may not be up to the mark, but it can click some decent shots in daylight and night situations. However, it may lag in extremely low-light situations.
