Realme GT Series launch in India on August 18, Realme GT Master Edition launching too

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed the Realme GT launch in India. The Realme GT Explorer Edition could also accompany the GT Series mobile phones.

It has been very long time since we are hearing rumours and leaks about the launch of the upcoming Realme GT series in India. Now, Realme India has officially confirmed that the flagship device is coming to India. In a recent #AskMadhav YouTube session, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the upcoming Realme phones will be launching on August 18 in India. With this announcement Sheth hints at the upcoming launch of Realme GT Series in India. It means that there could possibly be two or more mobile phones. These devices could be the Realme GT and the Realme GT Master Edition.



Realme GT Series in India:

Currently, Realme GT Series features five mobile phones. These includes the Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Neo, Realme GT Neo Flash Edition, Realme GT Master Edition and the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition. Realme GT Neo is the only device available in India, however with a different name. On the other hand, Realme GT Neo Flash is also a tweaked version of Realme GT Neo. Which leaves us with three other handsets under Realme GT Series, which could launch soon in India. These Realme upcoming phones could launch at August 18 event. Earlier, the Chinese brand have launched the Realme GT 5G in China in the month of March. Additionally, the company has also launched the Realme GT Master Edition series in China few weeks ago.

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has also asked fans on Twitter about which mobile phone that would like to see launch next in India along with an image. This image displays four car models in form of Realme GT Series mobile phones. To recall, Realme GT Neo has been already launched in India with a different naming, Realme X7 Max 5G. Based on the Twitter image, it is likely that either the Realme GT 5G or the Realme GT Master Edition series could be launching in India on August 18.

Realme GT Series Price in India:

In an interview with India Today, Realme CEO also confirms for the price of base variant of Realme GT 5G. The base variant of Realme GT 5G will be price at approximately around Rs 30000 in India. If this price comes true, then Realme GT 5G could possibly be the most affordable smartphone to carry flagship processor Snapdragon 888 along with latest 5G features. Currently, the iQOO 7 Legend and the Mi 11X Pro are the cheapest Snapdragon 888 phones one can buy in India.

Meanwhile, Realme GT is based on the Realme X7 Max. The same device was already launched in India a couple of months back. The Realme X7 Max 5G comes with a plastic unibody design. MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC powers this device. On the other hand, the Realme GT 5G could launch with metal-glass body design. The device will be running on the Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor.

Realme GT 5G Specifications:

In China, the Realme GT 5G comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Whereas, the Realme Master Edition and the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 and Snapdragon 870 respectively. All the three phones come with 120Hz refresh rate display. They feature 65W fast charging solution. Regarding camera configuration, it packs in triple rear camera setup. While the Realme GT 5G and the Realme GT Master Edition comes with 64-megapixel primary sensors. The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition features a 50-megapixel primary lens.




Additionally, the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition also features a unique back panel design along with a leather suitcase-like design. Both the Master Edition Realme GT Series phones have been designed in collaboration with the popular designer Naoto Fukasawa.
