Motorola is working on its trendy Razr 5G foldable smartphone for 2022. According to reports, the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand plans to update its Razr 5G foldable phone with this year’s model. The 2022 model for a foldable smartphone could launch with Motorola Razr 3. The foldable smartphone has already been churning in the rumour mills for a long time. The forthcoming Motorola Moto Razr 3 comes with a codename of “Maven”. The smartphone makers had previously released the Motorola Moto Razr 5G in 2020. The brand is getting ready to launch the new foldable smartphone, Razr 3 5G (2022).

Previously some details about the upcoming foldable Motorola smartphone have been leaked online. The famous tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer has shared some more details about the upcoming Moto Razr 3. Earlier last month, a newly leaked video shares a glimpse of the new design of the upcoming foldable Motorola smartphone. According to this video, the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand is trying to copy the design of Samsung’s Flip smartphones.
In this new design video, the alleged Motorola Moto Razr 3 has lost the thick Razr chin at the bottom. Furthermore, there is purportedly no crease on the inner folding screen. This alleged video for the upcoming foldable smartphone has been shared by the notable tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks, on Twitter. In this video, the handset features a dual rear camera setup and also a centrally-placed hole-punch camera on the inner folding display. The fingerprint scanner is also likely to sit inside the power button. Furthermore, this Motorola Moto Razr 3 will likely retain the big external display.

In another report, some specifications of the upcoming Motorola foldable smartphone have surfaced online. According to this report, the Motorola smartphone will likely launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The foldable smartphone could also sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The report also shares the supposed battery capacity details of this handset.

This report has been published by the tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the tipster, the Motorola Moto Razr 3 could feature a 2800mAh battery. Meanwhile, the same battery capacity is already present on the Motorola Razr 5G. FYI, this Moto Razr 5G 2020 comes with the Snapdragon 765G. Despite the same capacity battery as its predecessor. Motorola claims that this battery will offer better battery life than its predecessor. However, in comparison with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, the battery capacity of the Moto Razr 3 is significantly lower. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 packs in a 3595mAh battery.

After multiple specifications leaks, the price and colour details of the rumoured smartphone have leaked online. Furthermore, the price of the Moto Razr 3 for the European markets has been tipped online ahead of the official launch. As per this report, the price of Razr 3 in the European market is likely to be significantly lower than its predecessor.

Furthermore, the Motorola foldable handset will likely launch in a single-colour option. The other colour options will likely launch later. The report also confirms that the smartphone will first launch in China in July or August. While the global launch will occur only after the China launch of the Moto Razr 3.
Moto Razr 3 price and availability (Expected)

According to this report, the Moto Razr 3 will be launching in the European market with a price tag of EUR 1149, roughly Rs 94300.

This price is said to be significantly lower than its predecessor, the Moto Razr 5G 2020. Additionally, the device is likely to launch in a single-colour option, i.e. Quartz Black. Other colour options will launch at a later date. Earlier, it was revealed that the Motorola Razr 3 would first launch in China in July or August. Furthermore, Motorola has also teased the new smartphones to launch globally in July 2022. Meanwhile, we don’t have any official information or leak about its Indian availability.
