The launch of Apple’s next generation iPhone 13 series is months away. However, still there are multiple leaks and rumors about it’s features and specifications that are floating all around the internet. Many hints like smaller display notch, improved cameras, 120Hz refresh rate etc. are already hinted about the upcoming iPhone 13 lineup. Now, a latest leaks appears online claiming that iPhone 13 series is likely support mmWave 5G networks outside the US markets.
This latest news is reveal by popular Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo. He confirms that iPhone 13 lineup will support mmWave 5G networks outside the US markets. This will be a major upgrade from the current generation iPhone 12 series. As per reports, the Global markets like Australia, Canada, Japan and other major European countries are likely to see mmWave 5G iPhones later this year.
iPhone 13 with mmWave 5G Support:
To recall, this mmWave 5G network support was also available in current generation iPhone 12 series. However, this feature was limited to iPhones in US markets only. The current generation iPhone 12 models in US market comes with distinctive plastic housing for the extra antennas. These antennas are present alongside the power button. Previously, another rumor claims that the Apple is likely to use one of the latest Qualcomm’s 5G modem on it’s upcoming iPhone 13 lineup.

Smaller Notch in iPhone 13 lineup:
As reported earlier, some previous leak claims that the display on iPhone 13 lineup will get a smaller notch. To confirm this news, An image of iPhone 13 screen protector also reveals the smaller notch design. Additionally, the report also confirms about the repositioning of the earpiece. Therefore, it will allow FaceID sensor to be place closer, thus making the notch smaller. If this news comes true, then it will be first time that Apple will be altering the notch design. improved cameras on iPhone 13:
The upcoming iPhone 13 lineup is also likely to come with improved rear camera sensors. The next generation lineup will feature better cameras in comparison to the current generation iPhone 12 series. Although, the next generation iPhone is likely to follow the flat-side design pattern from the current generation iPhone 12 models. The next generation series will feature four models including iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. As reported earlier, this will the one last time we will be getting the Mini variant. As Apple has decided to skip the Mini variant from the iPhone 2022 series onwards. At present, the pricing for the iPhone 12 series starts at Rs 59900 for the base 64GB model of iPhone 12 Mini. This iPhone 12 model comes with a compact design and 5.4-inch OLED display.
