How To Check Aadhaar Card PAN Card Link Status online?

There are two ways to find out whether your Aadhaar and PAN card are linked:

1: Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal. (Note: Always use Incognito Mode on browser)

2: Under the ‘Quick Links’ heading, click on the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’.

3: Enter the ‘PAN number’ and ‘Aadhaar Number’ and click the ‘View Link Aadhaar Status’ button.

When your Link Aadhaar status is validated, a notification will be shown. Your Aadhaar is linked to your PAN card, the following notice will appear: “Your PAN is already linked to given Aadhaar” (as seen below).

When your Aadhaar-PAN link is active, the screen will display the message “Your Aadhaar-PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for validation.” Please check the status later by going to the Home Page and clicking on the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ link.”

When your Aadhaar is not linked to your Pan card, the screen will display the message “PAN not linked with Aadhaar.” To link your Aadhaar with your PAN, please click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ (as indicated below).

  2. Go to ‘Dashboard’ on the homepage and click the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ option.
  3. You can also go to ‘My Profile’ and click on the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ option.

The Aadhaar number will be shown when your Aadhaar is connected to your PAN card. When your Aadhaar is not connected to your PAN card, the message ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ appears.
