Every year, Google Pixel lineup makes some sort of controversy. The smartphone series always remains as trending topic. Earlier this year, Tipster reveals that Google is planning to cancel the Pixel 5a phone. Later, Google came official and denies such claims. This confirms that new Pixel 5a smartphone will be launching this year. Google always struggle to keep secrets about its upcoming smartphone. According to recent blog post, the tech giant reveals the photo samples taken from the upcoming Google Pixel 5a. Thus, confirming the camera details of this upcoming smartphone.
In the Google Photos gallery, two photos stands out as out, in gallery full of photo/ camera samples. The rest of samples were with their unique EXIF data. In these two photos, under device details, the handset name was mention as Google Pixel 5a. Thus, confirming that the new Pixel 5a handset will come out as sole variant in 2021. The device name does not accompany any pixel 5a 4G or 5G tag with the name this year. Therefore, we can expect the lineup to consist of single affordable 4G Pixel device.
Leaked Camera Samples of new Pixel 5a:
The Photo samples were first spotted by GSMArena. The camera samples confirms about the presence of an ultra-wide angle sensor, which comes with a lens aperture of f/2.2. However, the photo was taken on October 1. This may suggest that there is a long development process for the new Pixel 5a smartphone. However, Now, the photo samples has been removed from the Photo Gallery. To recall, the company announced Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 in October last year. In the second sample, a girl standing inside water does not have any EXIF data. This photo was shot recently on February 16. This may suggest that this photo is likely to be click from the all new Pixel 5a prototype. In the blog post, there were talks about the Google’s HDR Technology and how will it act in varying lighting situations. Looking at the samples, confirm that the camera of upcoming Pixel smartphone will give tough competition to some of the most expensive Android smartphones. However, this was also expected to from last year’s Google Pixel 4a.

For many years, Google has been primarily focusing on the software bits for the Pixel lineup. This year also Google is likely to follow the same trend with new Pixel 5a phone.
