OnePlus Nord 2 design surface online, a OnePlus 9R look alike

The OnePlus Nord 2 with all new design is set to launch in just a few days, and the company has already revealed some key details about the upcoming smartphone. The official tweet from OnePlus showcases the back panel of the upcoming Nord smartphone, which confirms the earlier leaks. The Nord 2 is likely to feature a triple-lens rear camera system housed in a rectangular module, with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera on the front.

Based on the available information, the OnePlus Nord 2 is shaping up to be a very promising smartphone. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor. This is one of the most powerful mid-range chips on the market. The OnePlus Nord 2 is also likely to feature a high-refresh-rate display, a large battery, and fast charging support.

OnePlus Nord 2 design revealed

Leaked images of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 reveals that the device will feature a triple rear camera setup, unlike the quad rear camera setup found on the OnePlus 9R. The Nord 2’s camera module sits inside a rectangular hump on the back of the device, and it features two large cameras along with an LED flash.

• Leaked Camera Details

The specific sensors present in the Nord 2’s rear camera setup are not yet known. However, rumors suggest that the device could feature a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. This would be a significant upgrade over the Nord 2’s predecessor, which featured a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

There is also a design difference is both of the One Plus Nord phones. As the original Nord smartphone features a pill-shaped camera hump until now. The details for the front panel remain behind the curtains. But according to leaks, we can expect the front camera to settle inside a corner punch-hole. 50MP camera on Nord 2 Smartphone

In the previous teasers, OnePlus has already confirmed about number of Nord 2 features and specifications. OnePlus Nord 2 will feature three camera at the rear end. The main camera sensor will support OIS along with other two camera sensors. Also, the main camera sensor is similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro’s ultra-wide lens. • Display and Hardware Specifications

Beside the Nord 2 design, the OnePlus Nord 2 will support a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. This display gets support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The all-new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI chip will be powering the device with some AI improvements.

OnePlus Nord 2: Other Features

The OnePlus Nord 2 will be running on the mix of Oxygen OS 11 and the ColorOS 11.3. This skin will be placed on top of Android 11 Operating system out of the box. Meanwhile, other features include a dual stereo speaker, Face Unlock ID and much more. Similarly for the price, the company did not share any details. However, we can expect the smartphone to start with a price tag of Rs 31999. This means that the Nord 2 phone will be expensive from the original Nord phone. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord 2 phone is all ready to launch in India on July 22 via an online launch event.
