The iQOO 8 series specifications and features have been leaked by a reliable Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station. The tipster also reveals the codename of a new smartphone, V2141A, which could be the part of the iQOO 8 series. The V2141A smartphone has a 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The leak also hints at a high refresh rate, promising buttery-smooth scrolling and animations. The display also has a punch-hole cutout in the top-center for the 16MP selfie camera. As mentioned above, the V2141A smartphone is likely to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset. Furthermore, it will also support 120W fast charging. The Snapdragon 888 Plus is the latest and most powerful processor from the US chipmaker. The chipset offers a 5% improvement in the clock speed of the prime CPU core. Furthermore, it offers a 20% improvement in the AI performance over the Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, the raw CPU performance of the Snapdragon 888 Plus is similar to that of the Snapdragon 888. iQOO Neo 7 Monster Orange Edition
While we wait for the Vivo iQOO 8 series India launch, the company has announced a new color variant for the iQOO 7 5G, which is already available in India. The new color variant is the iQOO 7 Monster Orange Edition. It will go on sale from July 26 via Amazon India and the iQOO store. The iQOO 7 Monster Orange Edition has a striking orange color with a bold “Monster” branding on the back.
It is similar to the iQOO Neo5 variant that was launched in China earlier this year. The iQOO Neo5 is another flagship smartphone from Vivo iQOO that features a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset.
