Micromax is ready to launch another smartphone in Indian market. This will be a new budget segment smartphone which is likely to be announce on March 19th. The company has confirm that it will be launching the successor of last year’s Micromax budget smartphone. Also, The company has also started to send out invites regarding this launch.
To recall, Micromax re-entered Indian smartphone market last year with the launch of two new budget smartphone. These smartphone includes Micromax 1b and Micromax In Note 1. With this launch, The company’s marketing strategy was criticized, as the company emphasize a lot on its ‘Make in India’ aka ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat‘ (self-reliant India).
Micromax In 1: Launch event details
According to reports, The upcoming Micromax In 1 smartphone will be launched via an online launch event. The launch event is schedule for March 19th at 12pm. Also, The teaser is already live on Micromax’s official India website. The launch event will be livestream on Micromax’s official website. However, the company did not revealed any other details about this upcoming smartphone. The only known information is that this upcoming Micromax device will be a budget smartphone. Even the pricing of the smartphone is yet to be known.
Previously, the Indian smartphone brand launched its Micromax In 1b and In Note 1 at a starting price of Rs 6999 and Rs 10999 respectively. According to reports, the upcoming Micromax In 1 smartphone is likely to be a budget smartphone. The device is likely to be price under Rs 12000. Therefore, the smartphone is likely to take on the likes of smartphone including Redmi Note 10, the Poco M3, and others. Also, The report also confirms that brand calls this upcoming smartphone as “India ka naya blockbuster“.
Micromax In 1: Budget smartphone
The Micromax In 1 is likely to be a slightly upgraded version of Micromax In 1b. Regarding specifications, The upcoming Micromax In 1 is likely to feature a 6.52-inch display, which comes with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Also, The device is likely to be power by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This chipset comes along 2GB RAM/ 32GB of internal storage.
For cameras, Being a budget smartphone the Micromax In 1 is likely to feature a dual-rear camera setup. This camera setup includes a 13-MP primary sensor along with a 2-MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the budget smartphone includes an 8-MP selfie shooter. The major highlighting feature of this smartphone is likely to be its battery. As the smartphone packs in a 5000mAh battery setup.
