Oppo A57 4G (2022) is a dual SIM Android-powered smartphone. This 4G Oppo mobile sports a 6.56-inch HD+ touchscreen with a waterdrop notch design. This display gets a screen resolution of 1612*720 pixels with a 60Hz refresh rate. Oppo claims that this display has been built to deliver a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. Furthermore, this display gets a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Budget Smartphone with MediaTek Helio chipset

The newly launched Oppo A57 4G (2022) comes inside a Blue themed box packaging. The top of the box features the company branding with the handset’s name in big and bold fonts. At the back of the retail box, we can see the smartphone’s specifications and key highlight features. On other edges of the box, we can see the Oppo branding and the handset’s name. On opening the retail box, we see a black color section on the top. Inside this, we get a good quality TPU case as the Oppo A57 cover for back, along with some documentation and paperwork. We also get a SIM Tray ejector pin. Below this, inside the box, we get the Oppo A57 4G (2022) mobile unit. Furthermore, the retail box also contains a 33W SuperVOOC fast charging Oppo original charger and USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging Oppo cable for charging and data transfer.

Physical Design
Talking about the physical design, the front of the display features a waterdrop notch design. This waterdrop notch accommodates the front selfie camera. The rear side of the smartphone features a rectangular camera module. This camera module accommodates dual rear cameras along with a pill-shaped LED Flash. The AI Camera branding is also present vertically on the camera module.
The Left edge features the Power button, doubles up as the fingerprint unlock sensor. Additionally, the right edge gets the volume rockers and a triple-slot SIM Tray. Moreover, the bottom edge features the speaker grille, a primary microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The waterdrop notch style design could be a turn-off for some users. Also, we expected the device to launch with a Full-HD+ display resolution. The display gets big bezels on all four sides, especially the big bottom chin. The 4G Oppo phone runs on Android 12 with Color OS 12.1.
Oppo A57 4G (2022): Performance
The latest Oppo A57 4G comes with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This is an octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.35GHz. This chipset is designed on a 12nm fabrication process. Furthermore, the mobile phone packs in 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Oppo handset also supports a virtual RAM expansion feature. This feature can add an extra 4GB of RAM using internal storage. It will be extremely helpful with multitasking. Additionally, we did not notice any issues with general tasks like calling, messaging, web browsing, or exploring social media. With low RAM and storage, we cannot expect out-of-the-box performance. Graphic intensive games are not recommended for this Oppo A57 4G as they will heat the smartphone a lot. Additionally, with heavy games, the smartphone will start feeling laggy. Considering the price range, Oppo could also have offered a better processor with a better GPU.
Oppo A57 4G (2022): Battery
The 5000mAh battery on the latest 4G Oppo mobile phone also works perfectly fine, and this smartphone comes with 33W SuperVOOC Fast charging technology. The Chinese smartphone brand also offers the 33W SuperVOOC Oppo original charger within the retail box packaging.
Considering the price point, this is a really good option, as the 33W fast charger charges the handset from 0 to 100 percent in just 90 to 100 minutes, depending upon the conditions. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock biometric also work well on this Oppo 4G mobile phone. For audio experience, the Oppo A57 4G also comes with dual linear stereo speakers at this price point.
Oppo A57 4G (2022): Camera
The latest Oppo A57 4G (2022) smartphone has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP + 2MP camera configuration. Additionally, the 13MP primary camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture. At the same time, the secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. This depth sensor is useful for bokeh effects. Camera Quality
In terms of our camera experience, the photo output is quite impressive. The details in both front and rear camera output are decent. The color saturation is on the higher side, and the contrast levels are on the higher side. In daylight conditions, the camera quality also is good, and the dynamic range is excellent.
