Microsoft’s approach towards Windows update completely changed after the release of Windows 10 Operating System. Since the launch in 2015, Windows 10 mainly remained unchanged, the Operating System did not get any major revamp. According to reports, Microsoft is planning to bring some changes in the Windows OS with the launch of Windows 11.
The reports suggest that, On June 24, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Chief Product Officer Panos Panay will be launching the “next generation of Windows” possibly Windows 11. However, Currently, nothing has been teased as of yet. The report suggests that the new visual design theme will be similar to the Sun Valley update. According to rumors, Microsoft has been working on a mega refresh of Windows OS from a very long time. This new updated version of Windows 11 could launch with a codename Sun Valley Update. In this update, the Windows OS is likely to get a new coat of paint.
Additionally, there is a possibility of some major performance upgrades. According to previous leaks, the highly anticipated Windows 10X is not happening. Windows 11 could be the next version
The update of Windows 11 is likely to bring new visual language over the Windows 10’s rusty old design. To recall, the major part of the upcoming Windows update will remains similar to what we have already seen. It will remain same as in Windows 10 at the time of launch in 2015.

Action Center, Connectivity and other update
Additionally, there will be changes in the Action Center in Windows 11. These changes will make Action Center more useful as suggested by speculations. Microsoft could also bring support for ease of connectivity and management between wireless audio devices via Bluetooth. The new update will also bring the Xbox Game HDR feature for gamers. This feature have been use directly from the latest Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. This feature will allow Direct X11 and Direct X12 games to be render in HDR. Keep in mind, for HDR gaming, you must also have HDR compatible monitor.

This “next generation of Windows” namely Windows 11 appears to bring a little improvement over the current version. Earlier, Microsoft used to launch new versions of Windows in every 3-4 years.
