iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, introduced its latest 5G smartphone last week, named iQOO Neo 6. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched this phone as a high-end gaming-centric device. The iQOO Neo 6 is the successor to the iQOO Neo 5 in China. The phone boasts several notable features, including a 120Hz AMOLED display and a triple rear camera setup. Additionally, it supports an 80W fast charging technology, an upgrade from last year’s iQOO Neo 5, which only supported 66W fast charging.
Vivo iQOO Neo 6 in China

Availability
The Vivo iQOO Neo 6 smartphone comes in two color options, including blue and orange shades. These color variants come with classic lycée leather on the back. Furthermore, it is marked by a Black shade and fluorite AG Glass. As far as its availability is concerned, the iQ00 phone will go on sale exclusively in China starting April 20. iQOO Neo 6 comes in a Black themed box packaging. Once we opened the box, we found the documentation, a warranty card, some iQOO brand stickers, and a good quality iQOO TPU protection case. The box content includes an 80W Flash Charge Fast charging power adapter, a USB Type-C cable for data transfer and charging, and a SIM ejector tool. Besides these contents, the box packaging also includes the main mobile unit of the iQOO smartphone.

Design
As mentioned above, the iQOO Neo6 is a premium category smartphone that succeeds the iQOO Neo5. Compared to iQOO Neo 5, the latest Neo 6 offers a premium in-hand feel. We got the black color variant. Undoubtedly, the Vivo iQOO Neo6 excels in every situation in terms of performance. It can easily handle multitasking along with intensive video editing and high-end gaming. One can easily play games like PubG, CoD, and others in high graphic settings. The average frame rate while gaming is around 80fps, which is excellent. We did not notice any frame dropping issue.

The triple camera unit is sandwiched between the metal layer in this unique camera module. The bottom part of the metal layer features the Neo branding. Additionally, there is AI camera branding mentioned on the metal portion. The triple camera unit feels quite attractive.
IQOO Neo 6 gets a triple rear camera setup for photos and videos. The 50MP primary camera is a Samsung ISOCELL Plus GW1P sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. Moreover, this primary sensor also gets PDAF and OIS support. The secondary camera is a 12MP Samsung GM1 ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. Software-wise, the iQOO Neo 6 runs on OriginOS Ocean skin on top of Android 12. Moreover, this custom skin comes with many new features based on Android 12. However, the handset comes with a lot of junk apps pre-installed. Although, we can uninstall these junk apps to save our storage.
