Last week, Qualcomm officially announces the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The launch of this latest processor took place at the annual Snapdragon Summit. Following the announcement, many smartphone manufacturers announced that their upcoming smartphones will be powered by the flagship processor. Many OEMs joins the list to manufacture smartphones with this processor. OnePlus is one such Chinese smartphone manufacturer. OnePlus announced that their next device will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Other companies to join the list includes the Black Shark, Honor, iQOO and Oppo. Realme, Motorola and Xiaomi have also confirmed to bring phones based on the latest flagship chipset.
OnePlus Phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1:
According to reports, OnePlus has already confirmed that their latest phone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. OnePlus took it to the social media channel. Here, they announce that their upcoming smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Although, the Chinese brand has not announced the exact model’s name which could launch next. However, some report suggests it to be the OnePlus 10 series. The report further suggests that the upcoming OnePlus series could feature the vanilla OnePlus 10 alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro. Moreover, both the flagship OnePlus phones are likely to debut next year.
OnePlus 10 series: Leaks and Rumours
Meanwhile, the exact launch details about the upcoming OnePlus 10 series are yet to be revealed. Recently, popular Indian tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted about the OnePlus next phone. He tweeted that OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the upcoming phones under the latest OnePlus 10 series. These mobile phones will be based on the latest Snapdragon processor. Another report also claims that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the top-end Android phone. The upcoming OnePlus mobile will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

As for the optics, the OnePlus 8 Pro could launch with a triple rear camera setup. The 48-megapixel primary camera sensor could come with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The third lens will be an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, the upcoming OnePlus flagship will feature a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.

Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as the first 4nm chipset. Qualcomm claims to deliver four times faster artificial intelligence (AI) performance. Additionally, it can also deliver up to 30 percent faster graphics rendering. The latest flagship chipset also includes 5G modem-RF solution. Qualcomm claims that it can deliver up to 10Gbps download speeds on a compatible network. OnePlus sibling iQOO also tipped to launch the iQOO 9 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 early next year. The smartphone series could also launch in India.
