Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 officially launches in South Korea. The device could launch in other countries including India but with a different nomenclature. Some previous reports suggests that the Galaxy Wide5 could be rebadged. It can be rebadged as Galaxy F42 5G for India and other global markets. In South Korea, the Samsung 5G phone was unveiled in partnership with SK Telecom. Additionally, the Samsung device is available in Korea exclusively on the carrier’s website.
The all-new Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 comes with a waterdrop-style notch display. The Samsung Galaxy mobile phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the Samsung Wide5 comes with a triple rear camera setup along with 64-megapixel main camera setup. It gets a square-shaped rear camera module. In the rear camera setup, two camera sensors sits beside third camera sensor and LED flash light.

In Korea, Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 comes with a price tag of KRW 449900 which is approximately Rs 28200. The Samsung Galaxy 5G Mobile comes with lone variant featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Moreover, the South Korean tech giant is offering this Galaxy phone in three colour options. As for the specification, the Galaxy Wide5 runs on company’s own UI which is based on Android 11 OS. The Samsung 5G Galaxy phone supports dual SIM card slot. It also gets a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Infinity-V display. MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers this Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 smartphone. The chipset comes in pair with 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy mobile phone also gets storage expansion slot. This means that the internal storage can be expanded by up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

For camera configuration, the Galaxy Wide5 comes with triple rear camera setup. It features a 64-megapixel main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, the secondary camera with 5-megapixel sensor gets f/2.2 aperture. The 2-megapixel tertiary sensor comes with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video chats up front, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel camera. Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 packs a 5000mAh battery along with fast charge support. The device also integrates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the device measures 76.4×167.2x9mm and weighs 203 grams.
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G: Coming Soon in India
Moreover, On SK Telecom website, the Galaxy Wide5 is listed with the model number SM-E426S. This model number is same as the one that has been attached with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. To recall, the support page of SM-E426B handset is already gone live in India. Thus, it hints that the Galaxy Wide 5 could soon launch in Indian markets as the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. Samsung has not gone official about the launch of Samsung Galaxy F42 5G in India or any other international market. Rumours and leaks does suggests that the device could soon launch in India with the name of Samsung Galaxy F42 5G.
