Last month, Skoda India officially unveiled the new Monte Carlo edition of the compact SUV, Kushaq. The all-new Skoda Kushaq comes with multiple alterations in terms of the design element. The latest SUV comes with newer color tones. Furthermore, it gets some cosmetic changes along with the addition of some nifty features. The latest Monte Carlo edition variant comes after the brand’s success at the legendary “Queen of Rallies” and the World Rally Championships. Skoda Auto India brings the new Monte Carlo edition variant with a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh.

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition: Colours and Price in India

The brand-new Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition SUV has two color options. These color options include Tornado Red and Candy White shades. The all-new Skoda SUV is available in four options in terms of variants.



As for the price details, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition price in India starts at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The automobile company is offering the 1.0-liter TSI six-speed manual variant at this price. Similarly, the top variant of the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes with a 1.5-liter TSI seven DSG transmission. Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo: What’s New?

The special edition Kushaq Monte Carlo also comes with an all-black exterior sporty design element. The black elements replace all of the chrome and silver elements from the standard car. The grille, wing mirrors, roof rails, door handles, and bumper also comes in black. Skoda Monte Carlo: Exterior Design

The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition also gets a new set of 17-inch R17 dual-tone Vega alloy wheels. Meanwhile, these alloy wheels incidentally look similar to the previous-gen Octavia RS 245. Furthermore, with the 1.5 TSI variant, we also get red brake calipers.



  • Front Design Elements

The front fascia is highlighted by crystalline LED headlamps with Daytime Running Lights flanked by a traditional butterfly pattern multi-slat grille. Furthermore, the front fenders also get prominent “Monte Carlo” badging. At the same time, the ‘Skoda Kushaq’ lettering is on the tailgate in the Black shade. The roof of the all-new Skoda SUV is finished in glossy carbon steel black paint. This Black shade contrasts with the body colors. The top roof also comes standard with an electric sunroof with anti-pinch technology. Additionally, the carbon steel roof complements the matte black roof rails, and the roof rails run along the edge. Furthermore, the tailgate spoiler gets a dual-tone red and black finish.



  • Back Design Elements

The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo car comes with a signature Skoda grille. This grille comes in a glossy Black shade. At the same time, the ORVMs also borrow the same glossy Black shade from the grille. Overall, the Monte Carlo edition SUV is different from the regular model. Moreover, it also gets the glossy black rear diffuser and trunk garnish. Skoda Monte Carlo: Interior Design

Inside the special edition SUV, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo gets a new dual-tone red-black theme. Meanwhile, the motorsport heritage inspires this dual-tone theme. Moreover, the standard model receives the grey-black interiors. Therefore, adding a new dual-tone red-black theme is one of the significant changes in the interior. Although, the basic layout remains the same. In terms of changes, there are also new red inserts on the dashboard, center console, and all four doors.



  • Red-Black Themed Seats

The seats also get a new dual-tone red-black upholstery with contrasting red stitching. All the headrests get a “Monte Carlo” inscription. Meanwhile, the same notation is also present on the door scuff plates. In terms of features, one significant addition is an 8-inch digital instrument cluster with red graphics. The two-spoke multi-function steering also gets a red-black theme stitching with leather wrap. Following the style variant, the other additional feature includes automatic wipers and headlamps. The driver seat instrument console has a 20.32cm Virtual Cockpit with a red theme. Furthermore, the center of the dashboard features a 25.4cm red theme infotainment system. Additionally, this infotainment system comes with pre-installed Skoda Play Apps.



Remember that the 1.0 TSI Kushaq Monte Carlo will also come with a standard Start-Stop recuperation feature to improve fuel efficiency. Although, the latest Skoda SUV still misses out on some parts. Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo: Engine Details

The latest Monte Carlo compact SUV is also available with all four powertrains. Meanwhile, there is one 115hp, 175Nm, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI engine. Furthermore, this engine pairs with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic torque converter.

Meanwhile, only Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos come with Special edition variants. Here, the Hyundai Creta gets the Creta Knight Edition. While the Kia Seltos comes with Seltos X-Line. These models feature similar cosmetic changes to the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo.
