Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date for its all new Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition Smart TV. The new Xiaomi Mi TV will be launching on June 1. The launch event for the same will take place virtually due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The latest Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition will succeed the current generation Mi TV 4A 40. To recall, this Mi TV 4A 40-inch price at Rs 22999. Also, at the launch of this Mi TV 4A 40 the company also announced a poster. This poster reveals that the device will launch with a “Horizon Display” along with bezel less display.
Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition:
The poster includes a photo of the front of upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition on top of a canvas stand. The image reveals the design of the device that will feature a chin at the bottom along with “Mi” branding and an IR receiver. Beside this poster, the company did not reveal any other details about the upcoming Smart TV. Also, there is no information about the pricing details or the specifications of this upcoming TV.

To recall, the Chinese brand has already launched its Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition in India last year. These smart TV comes in two sizes including 32-inch and 43-inch models in India. Also, the Mi 4A 40 was launched in 2019. But, now, the company is planning to make an upgrade to this 40-inch model with a bezel less design. Hence, the company has decided to launch the all new Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition in India.
Mi TV 4A 40: Specifications
The current generation of Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 smart TV supports a 40-inch Full HD display. This display comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with a 178 degree viewing angle and 5000:1 contrast ratio. The smart TV is power by 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic L962-H8X processor. This chipset comes in pair with a Mali-450 MP3 GPU. Additionally, the smart TV comes with 1GB RAM along with 8GB of internal storage. The device runs on Google’s Android TV 9 operating system. It comes with company’s own PatchWall UI 3.0 which is based on Android ecosystem.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 comes with dual stereo speakers of 8W along with support for Dolby Atmos Audio and DTS-HD audio. For connectivity options, the Mi TV 4A 40 comes with all important connectivity ports including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, two HDMI ports, two USB ports and one Ethernet port.
