Redmi 10 Power with massive 6000mAh battery launched in India

Redmi 10 Power is another smartphone under the Redmi 10 series in India. The latest Redmi smartphone launched last week in the country alongside the budget-centric Redmi 10A. This new Redmi mobile phone will succeed the aging Redmi 9 Power launched the previous year in September. Meanwhile, the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the new Redmi 10 series smartphone and has 8GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, the new Redmi handset has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection in terms of main features. Additionally, this Redmi smartphone is equipped with a 50MP dual rear camera setup. Furthermore, it packs in a 6000mAh battery along with an 18W fast charging solution. According to the company, the Redmi phone ships with a standard 10W charger.

Redmi 10 Power price in India:

Meanwhile, the Redmi 10 Power price in India starts at Rs 14999. The latest Redmi mobile phone comes with a sole variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Meanwhile, the Chinese smartphone makers are offering this Redmi Power handset in two color options: Power Black and Sporty Orange.

As far as availability is concerned, the company is yet to reveal when the device will go live on sale. It does, however, confirm that this Redmi 10 series handset would be available for purchase through Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon India, and other online and offline retailers. As mentioned above, the Redmi Power also launched alongside the Redmi 10A.

The latest Redmi 10 Power device is a dual-SIM Nano smartphone that also runs on Android 11 OS with the latest MIUI 13 skin. It sports a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel. Furthermore, this Redmi display can reach a peak brightness of 400 nits. Additionally, the Redmi 10 Power gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for screen protection.

Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the Redmi Power smartphone and Adreno 610 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Xiaomi India confirmed that the Redmi Power includes a virtual RAM expansion option during the Redmi launch event. Here, users can also virtually expand the available RAM by utilizing up to 3GB of inbuilt storage. Furthermore, the 8GB RAM can be virtually expanded by up to 11GB.



  • Camera:

For the optics, Redmi 10 Power features a dual rear camera setup. Additionally, it comprises a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, the secondary camera is a 2MP portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the handset also offers a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Power smartphone also comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The internal storage is also expandable by up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Power smartphone also includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Furthermore, the Redmi 10 Power packs a 6000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. However, the company is offering a slower 10W adapter in the box. To recall, the Redmi 9 Power also comes with the same capacity battery backup.
