iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro series have been official announced by Apple. The official announcement for new Apple iPhone series took place at the “California Streaming” virtual launch event. Multiple leaks and rumours about this latest iPhone 13 series already provided much details. As confirmed from the leaks and rumours, the iPhone 13 series includes four new iPhone models. These includes the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Mini, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This time all the four model comes with same screen size. Additionally, all the models get very similar overall design as compared to their respective predecessor.
However, the iPhone 13 series models will bring few notable improvements too. These improvement includes better battery life, overhaul cameras, a cinematic video recording mode, and a smaller notch. All the four models under the iPhone 13 series will be powered by the brand new A15 Bionic chip. To recall, the latest A15 Bionic chip was launched earlier this year at the Apple’s WWDC 2021 event along with iOS 15. These four models will also get the taste of iOS 15.

iPhone 13 Mini:
The all-new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will come in three storage variant. These includes a 128GB, a 256GB and the 512GB storage variant. The Cupertino based tech giant is offering the base variant of iPhone 13 Mini with 128GB of internal storage at a price of Rs 69900. Whereas, the 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 79900. The top-end variant of iPhone 13 Mini comes with 512GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 99900.

The iPhone 13 Pro with 512GB is price at Rs 149900. The top-end variant of iPhone 13 Pro comes with 1TB of storage and is price at Rs 169900.
iPhone 13 Pro Max:
The all-new iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with a starting price of Rs 129900 for the base variant with 128GB of storage. The 256GB variant comes with a price tag of 139900. The iPhone 13 Pro Max with 512GB is price at Rs 159900. The top-end variant of iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with 1TB of storage and is price at Rs 179900.
Apple iPhone 13: Price in the US
In the US markets, Apple is offering the iPhone 13 series at the same price tag as the previous gen iPhone 12 series. The price for iPhone 13 Mini in the US starts at USD 699. Whereas, the iPhone 13 price starts at USD 799. Keep in mind, at this price interested customers can grab the 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, for the Pro variant, Apple is offering the iPhone 13 Pro with a starting price of USD 999. While, the iPhone 13 Pro Max price starts at USD 1099 in the US market. Thus, making the starting price same as the previous generation.
Regarding its availability, the pre-orders for the next gen iPhone 13 series will begin on September 17 in India, the US, UK, Japan, China, Australia, Canada. The retail availability will commence on September 24.

As mentioned above, all the four models of Apple iPhone 13 series comes with Apple’s new in-house A15 Bionic chipset. This chipset comes with 6 core CPU. Here, two core offers high-performance. Rest four cores are efficient cores. Additionally, it also includes a 16-core Neural Engine. The Cupertino based tech giant claims that this SoC can offer up to 50 percent better performance. In iPhone 13 series, the Apple iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini features the A15 Bionic with four-core GPU. Whereas, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max features five -core integrated GPU.
RAM/ Storage Specs:
In the launch event, Apple does not officially disclosed about the actual amount of RAM and the battery capacities for each model separately. Although, Apple does promises that these smartphones will offer up to 1.5 hours better battery life on the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 Pro as compared to their predecessor. Whereas, the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max will offer 2.5 hours better battery life. This will be the first time that Apple will be offering non-Pro iPhone variants with 512GB of storage. Whereas, the Pro iPhones i.e. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be shipping with 1TB of storage for the first time ever.
All the four variants under iPhone 13 series will feature 20 percent narrower notch. This allows company to offer increased screen size. Additionally, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will also get more brighter screens. Apple further added that the Pro variants will come with Apple’s ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate. This means that refresh rate can dynamically vary from 10Hz to 120Hz on Pro models. This will provide more responsiveness and improved power-efficiency. On iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Pro models, the daytime brightness is 800 nits and 1000 nits respectively. Apple is providing peak HDR brightness of 1200 nits on all the four models. Additionally, the iPhone 13 series will support Dolby Vision, HGDR 10, HLG.
iPhone 13 Non-Pro variants:
The all-new iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Mini models will feature the same flat-edge aluminium frame. These device comes with Ceramic Shield material on the front. The non-Pro variants also gets IP68 dust and water resistance certifications. Both variant comes in five new colour options. These includes Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight and Product Red colours. The Cupertino tech giant also confirmed that these non-Pro variants are designed using the recycled plastic water bottles for the antenna lines.
2. iPhone 13 Pro variants:
Moreover, Apple is using surgical grade stainless steel for the iPhone 13 Pro models. Apple claims that this custom finish will be resistant to abrasion and corrosion. The iPhone 13 Pro models will be coming in four new colour options. These colour includes Graphite, Gold, Silver and Sierra Blue colours. The latest iPhones have 5G antennas and radio components that were custom-designed to accommodate more bands in more areas.
1. iPhone 13 Non-Pro models:
The all-new Apple iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Mini will be bringing a new wide-angle camera. This wide-angle camera will capture 47 percent more light, thus allowing less noise and brighter results. The wide-angle camera gets 1.7um sensor pixels along with f/1.6 aperture. The non-Pro model will also get sensor-shift optical stabilization. To recall, this optical stabilization feature is already available in the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Additionally, the Night Mode works more quicker and will capture more sharper shots. There is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The all-new iPhone 13 series also brings new Cinematic video mode. This will allow to shift focus between subjects. The transitions will take place automatically in real time from one subject to another subject when the subject enters the frame. Apple claims to have looked at the creative decisions that photographers make in order to draw users’ attention.
2. iPhone 13 Pro Models:
The iPhone 13 Pro models gets new 77mm telephoto camera along with 3X optical zoom. The Pro models will also include an ultra-wide angle camera which can now click the macro shots as well. Apple claims that it can click macro shots at a distance of up to 2cm from the subject. There is a primary wide angle camera with an f/1.5 aperture along with 1.9um sensor pixels. The Pro models camera can capture more light and less noise. It will also offer faster shutter speeds. Because of computational photography, all cameras, even the telephoto, now have Night Mode.
New Photographic Styles allow users to customize the on-device pictures. This rendering workflow can be customized in real time by utilizing presets and changing the Tone and Warmth sliders.
